Gangavva is one of the popular Indian YouTuber with a subscriber base of more than 1 million. She achieved this popularity through her performances in her son-in-law's YouTube channel "My Village Show". At present, their YouTube channel "My Village Show" has more than 1.66 million subscribers from both the Telugu States.

Gangavva's full name is Milkuri Gangavva. Gangavva's real age is not known as there are no record sources of her birth date and year. As per her calculations and inputs from different media sources, Gangavva's age is 61+ years. Gangavva was born in a small village called Kolasa. She even mentioned Kolasa as her birth place in the AV prepared for Bigg Boss 4 show. Many people get confused that she was born in Lambadipally, Telangana. Lambadipally is her husband's home town.

Gangavva is a school dropout and she has studied up to first standard (Class 1) in a government school in Telangana. As she can't read and write, her son-in-law and other team members explain the scene and dialogues to her. She practices them and delivers those dialogues in her own style. As a result, she hasn't delivered the exact script dialogues up to now.

Gangavva's parents died when she was a kid. Her grandparents raised her and performed her marriage with a local boy in their village. She said in a interview that she got married when she was only 5 years old. As this was a child marriage, by the age of 26 years Gangavva gave birth to four children; three daughters and a son. Her husband went to Dubai for 7 years in order to earn money. But he couldn't earn money and then became an alcoholic.
Gangavva had experienced a painful relationship with her husband. She didn't even have amount to clear the hospital dues and bring her husband's dead body. By the time of her husband's death, she was left with his 7 lakhs debt. Her husband and one of her daughters died a few years ago. All her children are married and now she is a grand mother to eight children.

As Gangavva was born and married in a poor family, she worked as a coolie in agricultural lands. She knows major farming works like ploughing, cutting grass, cleaning soil and so on. Gangavva used to roll beedis for additional income.

One of her son-in-laws Srikanth Sriram started a YouTube channel "My Village Show" in 2012. Through this channel, he used to upload videos related to village culture, village life style and rural family issues. Once Shrikant needed an old lady to act in one of his skits named "Village Internet Problems". As he couldn't find any old woman to act in that role, he asked his aunt Gangavva to act in the role. Gangavva accepted and acted in that role. Her role in this video went viral and was a sensation in Telangana. From then onwards, she used to appear in most of the skits in "My Village Show". Due to her craze, she got chances to participate in audio functions, game shows, interviews, TV programs and even in movies.
